How Dolores Cannon changed my life
My Spiritual Mentor, Dolores Cannon
As a graduating student from my master’s level Counselling program, and a new college Instructor in the middle of completing her training year, I had no income to speak of when I came across Dolores Cannon’s newest book; In The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth.
I remember the visceral affect my body experienced as I picked the book up to get a closer look. I felt electricity move through my body. It took me less than a week to complete it, and I enthusiastically ordered 8 more of her books as well. Her method of Quantum Hypnosis Healing Treatment (QHHT) spoke to the very core of me.
When I found out that this 82 year old woman (at the time) was still writing, teaching and training others, I wrote Dolores a personal email explaining how I was so affected by her work, but that I had no income at the time to pay for her QHHT training program. I had studied the works of many pioneer hypnotherapists over the years, but I knew that this individual, Dolores Cannon, was the “one” who I wanted to learn from; to be in front of; to be “affected” by her very presence. Her books had changed me, and my psyche was activated and amplified by all that she did. And yet at the time, I had no idea of how I could fulfill this great and passionate wish.
I learned from Dolores’s administration office that there were special bursaries available for consideration upon individual application and careful review. I completed all the pre-requisites, and over the next few weeks aligned myself for this opportunity to become real for me. And I didn’t have to wait too long before I was granted the valuable gift of their bursary. I was thrilled!
After happily consuming all the initial training, it came time for me to consider the Advanced training. I asked the Universe to somehow provide the money so that I could travel to Dolores’ hometown and be in the midst of this unbelievable teacher and mentor. Everything that I needed to happen occurred with ease and flow. I had offers to help, I found a roommate to help me to keep my costs down, and family members contributed to my exciting adventure – not only willingly, but also with enthusiasm. I was able to spend over 5 days with this wonderful wise woman, her daughter and a group of friends and family members who supported her in the business of “significantly changing the world”. It was one of the highest and most memorable times of my life.
My life has not been the same since my gaze fell upon her work and my body felt her truths envelop my being. I feel her presence with me each time I do QHHT sessions with clients. I have a personal-knowing that I own within my make-up, a piece of her energy that is so curious and trusting about the Higher consciousness which naturally comes through to assist the ones who seek us out. I use her influence constantly in my teaching, counselling and Hypnosis sessions. She continues to make a difference to many, as I carry her work and methods deep inside my heart.
My heart writes this with both gratitude and sadness. I’m grateful that my dreams have come true with the help of this courageous soul who was a pioneer and scout energy within the vital spiritual shift on this planet. It is those who are ready, who are drawn to Dolores Cannon. I felt honoured to be one of the ready ones, while she graced us with her human presence.
And now that she is no longer on our Earth’s side of the veil, we feel the giant hole that she left. I am often brought to thoughts and memories of those valuable moments where I was able to discuss, listen, laugh and just be within her presence when I had the chance. I work each day as one of her practitioners and am ever conscious of remaining worthy of her modality and the leading-edge wisdom that she shared with all who were drawn to her.

In The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth, Dolores elaborates on the three different classes of souls incarnating on Earth:
The First Wave: Now in their late 40s to early 60s, these volunteers are disturbed by the violence, anger and hate that they experience on Earth. They have had the hardest time adjusting to life as humans, and many of them try to commit suicide.
The Second Wave: Now in their late 20s and 30s, these volunteers are more comfortable in bodies and are said to be beacons or channels of energy who can affect others just by being near them. Their mission of just sharing their energy with others means they don’t have to do anything but just be.
The Third Wave: The new children, many of whom are now teenagers, have all the knowledge needed to exist on the planet after the dimensional shift and transformation takes place. Their DNA is more advanced, and the greatest challenge they face is being misunderstood by humans as having a condition (ADHD) that needs to be medicated.
